Privacy policy

In short: BBuilder stores what you enter in it (workouts, meals, supplements, body weight) on your iPhone and on our server, under a random identifier, with no account and no name. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising. No analytics tool is built in.
What BBuilder stores

| Device identifier | A random identifier created on first launch, kept in your iCloud Keychain and sent to our server to link your data to your devices. It is not your name, an advertising identifier or the device's hardware address. |

| Food | Meals (time, type, free-text content, note), supplements (name, amount per intake, unit) and intakes (date, amount). |
| Body weight | Your weight per day, entered by hand or read from Apple Health. |
This data is kept in the app (local cache) and sent to our server (the BBuilder API and its PostgreSQL database, operated by FastoData) so it is kept and can be retrieved. It is used only to make the app work: show your history and curves, and produce the CSV export.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
With your permission, BBuilder saves your strength workouts and body weight to Apple Health and reads your latest body weight. A weight read from Health is saved in BBuilder (and therefore on our server) only when you tap "Lire dans Santé" (read from Health). Health data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties. You can withdraw permission at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access.
Apple Watch
The watch receives your programs and the exercise catalog from the iPhone and sends finished workouts back to it, over Apple's iPhone–watch link. It does not contact our server directly.
What BBuilder does not do
- No account, no email, no name.
- No advertising, no cross-app tracking, no third-party analytics.
- No selling or sharing of data.
- No location, contacts, photos or microphone.
Retention
Your data is kept as long as you keep it in the app. What you delete in the app is deleted from the server or marked as deleted. On request, we delete all data linked to your identifier.
Your rights
You can export your data at any time (Courbes tab › "Exporter en CSV") and request its complete deletion by writing to bbuilder@shader.be. As there is no account, we will ask you for details to find your data (for example your program names and the dates of a few workouts). You may also lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.
Children
BBuilder is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data about them.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with its date.
